so after hours of pounding with the BFH, grinding with the half-dollar sized cutof wheel and attempting to saw will a toothless sawzall, my diff is in. and it works when it wants. and makes noise. and hums when i drive down the road


take off in first? spins both tires

donuts? somewhat

take a long left hander? still picks up and spins the inside tire

fluid leaks? none yet that ive seen

quiet driving? this fucker hums REALLY loud while motoring around


general consenses:

i think my hacked up to make them work output shafts are hating life.

and i think the bearings are bad


and i think i have to save up for an actual aftermarket diff.
and bearings
and output shaft(s)


i hate life


my cars unsafe

my tire is seperating from drifting

i have only one seat belt

and my windshield is now cracked needing replacement


i wish i still had my parts car so i could salvage the diff and the windshield

fawk that sucks.. that thing always laid down 2 strips in the hammer....

also since its a clutch diff maybe the plates need replacement? all i know is that it was fine on the hammer.. that really blows that its fuxored now.
