Secret Services Presents : SSPL ROM TUNE!!
Ok guys, time for something you don't see hardly ever on the east coast, let alone in America!!!
Over the past two years, getting correct tuning for your SR20DET has been a little difficult. Yes, there has always been Jim Wolf Technology, and you could also get tuned ecu's shipped from japan. Also, if you were a bit ballsy, you could run an Apexi Super AFC and give some good tuneability.
But now, Secret Services changes all that.
We are now custom tuning S13 SR20DET ecus on the dyno to give our customers the best solution to upgrading their fuel system while playing it safe.
Ever have that 115mph speed cut? Yeah, Everyone knows what it is. Ever notice how on some cars they will run just a little bit funky with that removed?? What if you could have the car run absolutely perfect up to 180 miles per hour, on the stock ecu!! And oh yeah, your guages work perfectly as well
So you just put in your larger turbo, but now you're hitting mafs cut. No problems here! The simple solution is to do an upgraded mafs, whether its a Z32, Q45 , R33 or whatever, we can take care of it!! low to mid 400 whp on our SSPL Rom is not out of the question at all!
Injector sizing also becomes that much easier due to our ability to tune anything from 260cc to 840cc injectors all on our dyno and rom tune. And you guys with the top feed msd 72lbs injectors need not worry. We have no problems tuning those as well.
Ok so how much does this gain you and how much does it cost, you ask.. Not just yet, there's more!

This isn't a problem either, as we can tune your car to a safe air fuel and conservative timing on the dyno, as well as take it a step further. We work with the stock SR knock sensor in it's strength to detect knock in the sr's as well as programming a safety boost map in the car that will dump lots of extra fuel and pull plenty of timing in the event that detonation is detected. This is a VERY successful method in stopping premature motor failure due to excessive engine temperatures caused by a hot motor unable to do the same amount of power as a cool motor with the same kind of setup without detonating. You will know the safety map kicks in, and you're only a shut off and re-start away from being back at full potential.
The abillity to tune both the fuel and timing values to a T, as well as keep the mass air sensor, Oxygen sensor , and all other sensors functioning is an insane help to those of you with daily drivers. Driveability of speed density is alright, but your car will drive just like stock with this tune, even if you're on 740cc nismo injectors, and a Z32 mafs.
Oh and cold startup?? What's taht? With our rom tune, starting a car on a cold morning with 555cc tomei's and a larger mafs is identical to starting a bone stock sr. No problems at all. You may think that cold start is easy to deal with but trust me, it gets irritating.

yes scott did an awesome job with the ecu in my car. i actually need to get back there though. i have since put on some new toys, so i need to get my name higher up on that list.
just some food for thought,
with that tuning, i made 358hp with a stock motor, stock intake manifold, and stock cams. i cant imagine what i will make now.
you will love your car that much better with that program.
