billy,
1. it makes no difference where the BOV is placed, whether it is on the hot or cold pipe.

2. you can have one welded for you at the shop, just give me a call, or you can just get a greddy kit for a s13. it is your preference.

3. this is where it is up to you, there are many roads you can take. there is the greddy radiator, the koyo, and the fluidine.(they make it for the 240 with the sr, but an integra one will work also and it is a lot cheaper) and you can go with FAL fans. it is up to you. you may not need to upgrade right away, i had to because my car always tried to overheat, but some dont.

greg

PM or call if you have any more ?'s

You want the blowoff valve before the intercooler.

i dont' feel like typing it up right now, search for scott's posts for the correct reason.

stock sr radiator with dual 12 inchers should be good for now. its proven fmic's can cause higher temps since basically the fmic's heat exchanging process, flows hotter air to the radiator than if there was no fmic, so a more efficient radiator is preferred but if you want to wait, get e-fans with an adjustable thermostat and u should be fine i believe. the only time people over heat with fmic's is sitting in traffic for long periods of time.

you actually want the BOV after the Intercooler. The theory is that the closer the BOV is to the Throttle Body, the less lag between shifts. when the blow off valve opens any air between the TB and the BOV stops, decompresses, and starts to move backwards toward the BOV. when you get back on the throttle the column of air has to be stopped, turned around, and re-accelerated back to the TB. not good for response.

on the other hand the air between the turbo and the BOV just continues to flow through the pipes in the correct direction so when the BOV closes all teh air between the turbo and BOV is moving in the right direction.

so in short

BOV close to turbo (on hot pipe) = BAD

BOV close to Throttle Body = GOOD

haha scott, i was going under the impression of wasting energy and heat seak potential of the intercooler by flowing hot air by it between shifts in a large amount, which would in turn heat up the intercooler more than if it was vented between shifts much before the intercooler, this way between shifts

the intercooler would be cooling more because less air was going by it, more of a recouperation period for the heat sink between shifts so taht more air is cooled easier during the actual time it needs flow and cooling, which is when you're in gear and in it

seems to me matt that the "relief" the intercooler would get is a bit short lived during a shift.. Its only getting that for about 1 second if that while your shifting hard, I'd rather have the x-tra throttle response to use for powering out of corners and for drift to balance the car
