Does anyone know a good machine shop to have a exhaust manifold extrude honed? I am going back to stock but I really want to get what I can from the stocker cast manifold.

Thanks for the help

Are there any good machine shopes in the bay area? Or do you just recomend not doing it at all and just saving for a better manifold? I have heard from from many people that even good SS manifolds will crack and I live in Jacksonville making trips to Tampa and this is when I think the craking happened...under long periods of heat. I really just want something reliable that has good performance, I'm not really sure what to do. I guess i"m just in a shitty situation please anyone with some experience with any of this give me some advise.

304 and 304L are essentially the same material. 304L offers no better heat resistance than 304. dont be fooled by hype.

yeah a few more percent of lead isn't gonna change enough...

its the sheer thickness that allows it to take the heat

Well since your boost wont be dropping off in the high Rpm's anymore, if you tune the car you'll prob still make a 332 or close figure.... least thats my bet.. I think with the old manifold if it wasnt broke and you held 19 lbs boost all the way to redline you woulda made 350..... so - 20 HP from going back to OK stock manifold = 330.. thats my educated guess
