Default Stupid Exhaust Question...
Real quick, I have a 3" cat-back exhaust with a 2.5" muffler on it. Will my performance be hindered due to the muffler being a smaller diameter?

ka or sr?
2.5" is good for the ka, and bigger is usually better on a turbo.

I'm not an expert, but if it's an aftermarket straight pipe I'll say maybe 10whp.
It also depends on if you're tuned yet, and if you're tuned w/ a 3".

maybe a small 5-10hp loss but if u can find a 3" muffler it would bring some of it back.
