to get fire i had to tap into a ecu relay wire(black/red stripe).... it made the relay click once,ok but when i take the wire off it did not click off.it fired and ran for a few sec.(no I/C yet)but the thin is ,it worked ......now i do the same thing and, i touch the wire i take the wire off and it cilcks a second time(no fire).........am i doing something wrong ,is the taped wire needed ,dose taped wire need to be conected all the time............. tell me???????

No offense to you, just an observation.... I think it's funny when people say that it's wired right, but there is still a wiring problem. You're not the first to make such a claim.

Everything that you need to know is described in detail on the Heavy Throttle install FAQ. srswap.com.

You weren't very clear in your explanation. What exactly did you tap into the black/red wire? Do you mean that you connected the two black/reds?
