Default Accelerator Pedal Too High

Is there anyway to adjust where the accelerator pedal rests. Just got my SR swap a week ago. Car runs perfect. The accelerator pedal rests alot higher than it used too making the car rather difficult to drive, and my right foot is now strained. The accelertor pedal is now, strangely enough, the highest pedal. Is there any way to adjust the height of the accelerator pedal too make it lower?

The only adjustment on the accelerator is at the trottle body. You probably just need to adjust the cable at the t-body.

To make it a lot lower you can bend the pedal stopper out of the way and then reverse the cable bracket at the throttle body. You'll have to bend the bracket slightly. That will make the pedal rest pretty low. Lower than the brake, actually. My project was setup this way, until I figured out what the previous owner had done with the pedal. I fixed it, and like it much better the stock way.
