ok so i replaced the head gasket and put new motor mounts in, but when i went to test drive it...

1)It sputtered everytime it got from 2500-3000 RPM and occasionally backfired.

2)wouldn't go past ~3000 RPM in gear, in neutral it would revv to about 4000, but no more

3)When i put the pedal to the floor it does nothing...possibly backfires, and actually loses RPM

4)Anti-Freeze was all over the intake side (im checking the coolant hoses tomarrow)

I'm thinkin it might partially be my jacob's electronics ignition system...im saving up to replace that...but other than that i can't figure out what the hell it is. I checked to see if there was any water in the oil, and vice versa, and it all looked good. If u can answer any or all of the above, i'd be happy, thanks.

or fuel pressure regulator, pull vac hose while car is running, if gas comes out it`s bad. did you get the timing right?

 

na, the timing is right on...i don't think it would have a steady idle if the timing was off.

and i found one thing...Say ur looking down on the passenger side of the intake collector...You can see the oil filter, and to the left you can see the starter...well my antifreeze/H2O is pouring out of something between the oil filter and the starter...what could be up there that i cant see from under, or over the car?

 

heater hoses??? either way run some of that radiator sealer stuff and see if the leak stops...

 

i think its a freeze plug from when i overheated my engine and blew my radiator and head gasket... but i drank 3 pitchers of bud at winghouse tonight...so don't take my word ofr it!
