its not just the turbine size that causes the lag..
the large plenum, short runner intake manifold, larger cams, large diameter exhaust manifold, and huge housing all contribute to lag

right, but how much timing is he running before boost starts coming in strong? You can run alot more than most people think, which REALLY makes the car much more drivable. That is one of the nicer things about an aftermarket EFI, is the timing curve can be much more drastic than an OEM application.

You could barely call it a loss....and for the record Dans SS is pushing alot more than 540 rwhp. I have the feeling this race was just the opening shots in the first battle.
But congrats to Scott and the SS guys. I cant wait to see it run at track day...I hope its done by then.
