auto to manual swap
Does anyone know what kind of expense am I looking at to do this? I have a GA16 w/ auto and wouldnt mind goin manual.
I know there is a lot of stuff needed to do this.

It's not all that hard but really I wouldn't recommend it.
The 200sx is a decent platform and trust me, I'm one of the ONLY ga16 supporters on this forum. I would consider an sr20det swap or maybe turboing the ga16 for some power. It's not hard to do but it does get expensive for all the parts you need.

I've had the pedals and linkages for B14 manual conversion sitting in my closet for more 10 monthes! I think I paid $90 for the parts. The hardest part was finding a salvage yard that had them. I'm not sure if SR linkages and GA linkages are the same, but I've got the SR ones if you want them. PM me.

Thanks for the info guys...I thinkin I may end up goin turbo.
Mike did that on the 200sx GA16DET project on the nissan performance mag and he is getting over 200hp.
It will be awhile but my car is almost paid for in full so I will start working on it after that.

Talk with Chef if you plan on turboing the GA16. He's been working and doing his for quite awhile now with some really good results.
I wanted to do the turbo on my sentra, but I didn't have the money and the car didn't last that long. Good luck with it.
