Default New problems.... Fan clutch possibility

OK so ive been working on my alternator problem which is still unsolved, Taylor pointed me towards the battery terminal connectors, the positive one is loose and is causing the lights (i hope).

He directed me to get a rockford fosgate battery connector and rewire my stock wiring into it.. seems to make sence to me,, but as I am looking and playing with stuff i knowtice a new problem.

When the motor is on the fan isnt moving much, and when i drive the car all i hear is a griding from the front of the car..... fanclutch = the owned me thinks.

All of this comes at the worst possible time when i have no cash to fix it... so who knows what happens ,just say a prayer for me LOL

spin the fan with engine off, should be smooth, ie no grinding sounds. however the fan don`t normaly run when at speed, it`s supposed to work at low rpm, when you don`t have alot of air across the rad. go spin it and see what you think.

e fans are very easy, supposivly free up hp, make more room in the engine compartment, look nicer and are better all around. check out perma-cool.com (call summit with part number for price. don`t get summit "equivalent" because they put out less cfm) and flex-o-lite.com
