Resistor?
Well, as I was perusing eBay like normal and I came across this little auction:

Auction title: NISSAN 240SX +2OHP AIR/FUEL/TIMING M0D+2OHP
I'm thinking "well, how the hell does that work?!" since he is selling it for like $7 total. He has 94.7% positive feedback (out of 1776 feedbacks) so whatever he is selling IS doing something.
Anywho, so I get to reading some of his feedbacks since I'm a sucker for cheap things and I was in the market for a timing advance. It appears the item is a Radioshack CHP resistor. Now, does this work? If so, how? Lastly, can I run down to Radioshack and snag this myself?! Heh.

You are better off buying a sticker for your ride which will provide you 2hp than this gimmick........

notice how it says 2O instead of 20.... That's not a zero behind that 2! The idea is to slightly change the MAF voltage that the ECU sees, leaning the car out and gaining your 2 hp.
Not recommended at all!
