I have a 2002 Maxima SE and I would like to make it a little faster. Any suggestions?

 

Just like any other car. Start out with little stuff like intake, header, and exhaust.

 

isn't there a supercharger kit for maxima's.........

Sorry, 2k2 doesnt have supercharger stuffs yet. most people Get liek Warpspeed Y pipe, Catman B pipe once you see the stock one you will understand, and a CAI, that will help you get on your way. My dad likes to mod 2k2 max's so come to the august 2nd meet and meet him, he will give you the DL.

 

Ok, let me rephrase the question. Does anyone know how I can make my maxima faster without making it louder or lose any drivability. Something like a supercharger or turbo. I have already come very close to getting the NOS nozzole kit for it. I would like to hear from those of you who have already done the work or know friends who have.

 

Dude, stuffs I mentioned are not loud unless you get on it, in which case you want to hear the engine.

 

intake wouldnt be THAT loud .....ive heard an intake does wonders on the newer max's

 

coming from a max owner, what sr180sx said is pretty much it for performance. Turbo would have to be custom, and no one makes a supercharger for it yet, although stillen just came out with one for the 350, which pretty much has the same engine, i dont know maybe because the engine layout is different is why he hasnt made one for the max. Coming from my stand point ive seen a couple of 2k2's with those exact mods and they have tore shit up, not to mention its sounds incredible at WOT. Anyway goodluck
