Default Wheel Choice for my Z32: Enkei RPM2 Vs. 5Zigen Typhoons (Pros and Cons)

So, over the last several weeks I have been trying to decide on which wheels to go with. I currently have a set of Konig Villains that I am unhappy with, as they are mismatched 2 alloy, 2 chrome...but thats a whole other story...predominantly I am just disastisfied with the quality of the wheels..oh and another one broke!
So, that brings me to where I stand now. In order to continue working on my z, and to be able to drive it I need to purchase a new set of Rims. I am limited to $1000 to spend...as I have a limited budget being a college student who works part time in IT, as well as launching my own magazine seems to be sucking a vast majority of my money away. I have a set of tyres with less than 1000 miles on them; Kuhmo Supra Ecsta 712's (Hold your negative comments in on that one ;-P ) sized 245/40/17 and 255/35/17...so I dont need tyres.

So, to get to the point I have decided on two different wheels to choose from. I am looking for any pros and cons y'all might be able to offer for each rim. Any pictures of them on a Z are appreciated as well, I have used search and come across a few, as well as via google. I know that the Typhoons are around 20.5lbs and the RPM2's are closer to 18.5 so obviously there is a substantial weight advantage there.....

Wheel #1
5Zigen Typhoon
17X8 5-114.3 35HSM
Machined, Silver powder coat with a very thick high gloss shine appearance and a machined lip

Wheel #2
Enkei RPM2
17X9 5-114.3 40HB
Finish: Hyper Black
Black powder coat with a very thick high gloss shine appearance

So, if y'all would let me know what pros and cons you might have read about and.or experienced with these 2 wheels...as well as any aesthetic thoughts you might have in regards to them...bearing in mind these are going on a black z with a WW body kit, and KYB AGX's with Eibachs.

I say TYPHOONS......That's one wheel that will always have my vote...even though everyone and their momma has it on their ride...

There's nothing wrong with Kuhmo's. Yea, their Korean made but I had mine for about a few months and they hold up good on the road pluys their reasonably priced. After I burn the rubber off these tires I'm going to invest in Yokohama's.

I like the enkie wheels...and kumho's suck for drifting...if you are thinking about that...dont get them...you should buy old school jdm rims...watanbe, work, dori, something like that...go to www.wheelchoice.com....they have alot of used rims for pretty inexpensive...just my opinion though

The Z is the weekend show car. I drive my beater 240SX the rest of the time.
