Ok..so I was leaving my house to go to work..My car started fine..had a little trouble getting it out of first gear but when I went to put it in reverse...it won't move!

My clutch pedal was all the way in and everything and I'm stuck in neutral.

Can someone tell me what this might be? The clutch pedal feels a little weird, but hell, what do I know?

sounds like a bad slave cylinder.

 

Clutch isn't hard or soft..doesn't make any noises.

To me...it just seems like the clutch pedal isn't all the way out when you're not touching it..but then again, I've been playing with it so who knows if it's my imagination or not.

Car runs great, I'm just stuck in neutral

 

slave may be stuck, or cluch fluid... one or the other.

 

Ok...so I had someone come and check it out and play with it and I was told possibly the pressure plate or the linkage?

Anything sound familar to your guys? He got in and played with it and got it into pretty much each gear, just had a hell of a time with it.

htrow out bearing, maybe? Nissans are notorious for being a bithc in reverse (you sometime have to shift to first and then into reverse).... other than that... I'd have to see it.
