Painted my valve cover today.


Not perfect, I fucked up next to where it says Nissan, but its alright I guess.

 

I can agree with that. I say keep pop ups and save money for other things you might need VS a Silvia front.

 

That pignose lip looks sooooo familiar. Was it on the car when you bought it?

 

Yes it was. It was the same color, but with no stickers.

 

So I picked up new tires for my front wheels the yesterday. Car drove awesome to work, but on my way home, one of them blew out, and I was stuck on the side of the interstate.



I had a friend let me borrow a donut, but when I went to go take off my wheel, I found that my lug nut key was stripped beyond recognition. Fuck. So I took him home in my roommates jeep, which handles like a bag full of smashed assholes, and got pulled over for suspected DUI. Passed a field sobriety test at 4am, and went home and passed out.

I waited til the morning, borrowed a key from a friend, got the donut on and started to drive to get my new(er) tires on, when I blew out the donut. Seriously, shit was WEAK.

Anyways I finally got new tires on all four wheels (I moved the 205/45s from the rears to the front, and put 225/45s on the rear.) and my car is driving fine.

 

Hit a deer the other night. This car is now fucked looking.




Started replacing stuff and found that my core support is bent back.


How she looks now


My hood is warped and won't lock down. So now I'm looking for a hood, core support, and a better headlight.

Oh for sure man. Everything takes time, especially when you have more bills to pay than the paychecks bring in haha

Anyway, I took a sledge hammer and pounded the shit out of my core support and got my hood to fit again. Picking up a new hood tomorrow from Fidel Cashflow then painting my fender silver, and my lip back to charcoal.
