Dang...I hope this thread doesn't turn into a pissing contest about who knows what about making power. Just for the sake of being able to see the process of getting there, I think this thread has value. For those of us that would like insight into what it will take to make this much hp and the headaches it can create, I hope we can keep the drama on the "track".

I havent "been there" or "done that" so i have no idea, but i'd like to see the progress James makes on this build as he works his way to his goal...even if it might seem out of reach to some.

thats a pretty high goal for what parts you have listed so far, are you planning on posting a list of goodies or is it a secret?

what is it that you dont get about it?

what is it you feel im lacking to do so guy?

please lmk so i can prove another one of you dumd founded air heads wrong
Mid 4's on a T28 low boost and pump gas? Your full of shit unless you have a dyno sheet to prove what you just said and that doesn't mean some buddy of yours to chime in! There has been only one 240 on TR that dynoed over 600+ which is paul, you would have no idea and MONEY he's put into his car to make that power. so again still waiting for you to prove my "dumd air head" a point...

It's no pissing contest it's about knowing what your doing and not guessing and estimating, I know a few people who's made same nasty numbers out these motor's and not one of them has never gotten there with a t28 turbo, lowboost, pump gas and small shitty upgrades. But i will lurking in here to see how this turn's out.

i made 400whp and 346tq with a stock bottem end, megan mainfoild, gt2871r turbo on 18psi, 550cc inj, hks 264 cams, and spitfire coil packs, on a martin rom tune, you dont believe it call him all thats has changed now and is not losing power its only going up........
picture when it was getting tuned and made those numbers

picture of the turbo that made that power

the way the engine bay looked when it made that power

there you have it nothing to hide if you dont think my numbers are honest then put up and run it......

Have an uncorrected dyno sheet with AFR of that pull? I want to see 400whp on 550's.

Since when is 600whp attainable on a 30R? Billet wheels in there?

fyi there is not much more power that could have been made with your old setup. stock rods are good to 500whp, evreything else internally is not made to hold 500, i.e. pistons, head studs, mainsutds, head gaskets, etc.
