A-ron: I know the dif is going to have either a 4.08 (which some call a 4.11) or a 4.36. Either will be fine with me...4.36 would just be a bonus. Unlike my 6-bolt 217,xxx open dif, I will need to source out some axles. Rumor is that I'll need to find a pre-95 J30 set, but i'll search to confirm. Unless someone has some kicking around I plan on searching for a while. If you have any info to help me out or add it would be much appreciated. Thanks so much for the feed back!!

Blackzenki: I actually have the rotors already...beefy bastards all vented up and @ 32mm thick!! The seller even tossed in stainless braided swap brake lines too(not just for the fronts but for all four corners!!). Thanks for the word of caution, as I would hate to see anything happen to her...lol. I'll be swapping in a z32 MC...but I'm still up in air over the E-brake set up. I sure do wish it was more like the 240sx, hydraulic set up. Thank you sir for the kind words as well!!

This will be a slow to finish project, because I want to 5-lug @ the same time...which mean hubs and wheels. I'd love to get hold of a set of r32 gtr wheels, even though they are 16's the are light as hell forged magnesium and would look nice on my ride.

During that down time I plan on getting the KA freshened up to be boosted by a super charger. The set up that I want to run is much like you'll find here: www.ka-t.org :: View topic - Supercharged s13 coupe. This guys out of Gainesville...not sure but you might know of him Zenki??

But with an intercooler like this Lotus set up (if you can picture it laying flat not standing upright as this photo shows...

Big dreams I know, but given time and effort (not to mention $$) I hope it turns out well.

hey, that's not that big of a deam.

a turbo swapped, 2+2 300zx, right hand drive, 600whp (before nitrous) wood grain and suede interior is a big deam.

a supercharged KA isn't that lofty.

I think I should have added in..."that runs for more than a month..." LOL. Or perhaps it a time and money consuming dream...but then again, arent they all. Empire...where's your build thread.

I would stay away from super charging the KA and just do a simple turbo setup. A lot easier to source parts and I would rather use forced induction from exhaust rather than from the crank. Just my opinion though, but good pickup on the parts.

Thanks and good to hear from you Chome. The idea has interested me since I was given the supercharger and know a guy that can machine the plate to mount to the KA. Once I get into the rebuild I may completely change my mind. You know how builds go.

Flipped the lights on last night and blew a fuse, i hope... The gauge cluster doesn't light up, nor do the side marker or turn signals (though the turn signal do flash). Ah the joys of owning an older car.

I've been checking out this build and I love this car! So simple and clean... ohh the joys of when a 240 has a owner with good taste.

I hope you get that problem sorted out. My headlights only turn on when using my brights.

Default Thanks for the Props!!

I havent looked at it yet but i'm almost certain its a fuse since my guage cluster lights and signal lights all when out after I check out a sidemarker bulb. I probably shorted it when swapping the bulb.

Funny you should mention the brights issue jlugo711, I have to do the same. Its a relay or switch issue that is causing it. I haven't checked into a fix because it is working fine as is...i did angle my lights down as far as possible...lol. I do however plan to eventually fix it. I hate having anything left rigged like that.

I hope to get to the u-pull-it place this weekend and grab a set of axles to use as a core when I order the 5-bolt axles from NAPA...well see how that goes.

Also, as you can see from the most recent photo I have Teardrops on the front of my car, for the 3rd time this year I picked up a screw (or two) in my front tire. I need to get a set of treads for the fronts mounted on my SE's this weekend as well.
