Kind of forgot about this thread. :/ Well, I painted more of the car flat black. I'm gonna try to get eveything done in time for Desoto. I'm gonna try to install the steering rack tomorrow. I might also get the fender and hub tomorrow.

Bro, you even said yourself, you've never tried to drift.
Learn what it is, why you wanna do it, practice, and THEN go to an event.
No fun gettin' pwned by a wall or whatever and becoming the butt of every joke.

 

I have very minor experience. I'm gonna get a shit ton of ride alongs before I attempt though.

 

Ride-along's?
You don't NEED ride-along's to learn how to drift.
At MOST, it'll show you the G forces and countersteering but you'll eventually have to teach yourself how to control the car.
I'm not hating, or discourage you in any way, shape, or form.
Good luck with the build, and all that fun stuff.

 

ride alongs help to show fundamentals of different techniques, but like you said you dont NEED it to learn to drift.

I did this because I got the car with a ghetto toggle switch to start the car. So I got the legit ign switch, but it isn't starting with it. =/ I'm gonna have to follow the wires to see where it all goes wrong. joy.
