tearing it down.

pulled pistons and the oil rings were ceased on all the pistons

pressure washed and painted the block















new clevite bearings





























baging and taging is must

Nice step by step rebuild. What type of intake do you have on your car? I'm trying to find something like that (not any eBay specials) since I no longer have a radiator shroud and running 12in dual e-fans.

I think that might be an ebay intake, annd wasnt meant for a Nissan
Great step by step though.

 

the intake was off my buddys ford ranger. He's a metal fabricator so i think he made it.

hey the engine bay did come out kinda shiny for a flat black paint lol. looks really good though.. so did you get it running good yet???
and that motor pull was fun lol good times

 

^^ya i did. the intake cam was a tooth off, but now she purrs like a kitten.

ya nothin like grinding striped tranny bolts off at 12 am in a apartment complex.
