LoL, yeah. I see the trio of cars there all the time when I cut through there to go to lunch. The story/build on that white Prelude was quite impressive.

With 300tq and a 4.36, you'll get plenty of wheelspin. It gets old really fast, which is why I'm actually trying to make less tq and more hp. Running a full size spare and a sub/amp helps traction as well. . Still, I think I'm around 270tq right now and I more or less hook 2nd. You're running more tire than me, which will help.

I know a couple people on NRR have 255 NT05's as well and make more power than I will and said they hook really well. I'll probably have some wheel spin and if I get sick of it I can always go to 275s

Once the motor is done, I'm getting a 10" sub and going to make a lower panel for the trunk and re-cover it so it looks factory again. I think I'm going to section out the spare wheel well and brace it then move the trailer hitch upwards so it hides behind the license plate.

Yeah his car is really neat, he wrecked his car 2 weeks before I wrecked mine last year. We're constantly talking about our car plans at work. He has a K24a motor he's working on and shooting for over 250hp NA to the wheels.

Also going to make a new rear exhuast with twin 3" bus tips. Should be pretty subtle yet awesome.

Might want to check out Hancooks Ventus V12s for the street. The Vette doesn't spin past 2nd on an off idle/mildly aggressive launch with 414 rwtq @ 3100 lbs. It does have 285's on it but on the stock GoodYear runflats, it would spin through 3rd on a whim as those tires were made out of concrete and wood. The new tires have tons of grip as well and aren't too pricey.

Just a thought to explore.

I'm sure you'll get used to it no matter what tires you're on. It's easy enough to do.

I remember what traction used to feel like

I think having softer rear springs should help with traction also. I'm running 4.5k rear springs out back so the car will squat a bit under throttle. I dont really care for drag racing but I'd like it to hook on corner exit. I think I'm worried most about the next deals gap trip and wheel spin up in the mountains on some of the slower hair-pin type corners. Deffinatly going to have to change my driving style this year.

Also looks like the install date will be the 19th of march. I'll probably take off work that friday and get to work on installing the motor and hopefully have it finished by sunday the 21st.
