only on a 1G is the stock blow off valve any good...dont worry about the sound, its designed to be a functioning piece of equipment, not a trumpet

mine seems to be pretty damn loud compared to other stock ones i have heard...
if you want loud, disconnect all the piping going to it......im sure youll have plent of fun with that one

Why do you really need your BOV louder? You can always vent it to the atmosphere, but you car will run like crap without a vpc(but good luck they are no longer made) I have a Greddy type S thats is loud as shit....and its not vented, I also have a 2g mas which helps alot.
