the best part about owning a mitsubishi
if u buy a used dsm then u never know how the car was treated. ive had my car for almost 5 yrs, bought it with 11miles on it, NOTHING has really gone wrong with it. besides something i might have done. maybe i just got a car that was made on wed.
i bought a 92 laser, ive had my share of problems, and i lead it to be just because of the age of the motor and all other parts...
2nd week i had it, i broke 2 valves, got a valvejob for 100 bux, cleaned out the throttle body, intake, exhaust, turbo, bottom end, radiator and IC, while i was down and replaced all my coolant lines and gaskets.. only thing bad now is the tranny, and my oil leak due to a cracked valve cover. DSM's are not as unreliable as people make them out to be, if you know the meaning of preventative maintenance, then you know how to take care of a car. its just old age and the wear and tear kicking in.
