its a pos because for the most part if your still running a MAS, your more then likely going to have the problem of stalling after hard acceleration and rough idling, a 1G bov is just fine for the money. venting to atmosphere is bad with our cars, but a vpc would correct the problem because i believe a vpc counts the air at the throttle body and not prior to the turbo like our MAS does. when the hks vents to atmosphere the ecu has already accounted that air into its fueling equation, when that air isnt recirculated back through the intake, it will stall the car.

buy a recirculation kit so your car doesn't freak out when the bov dumps, its like $20

I'd have to disagree as far as the P.O.S. rating of the hks ssbov.

i ran one for the longest time and the only complaint I had was their flanging method. I hated that fucking slip ring.

the design of the valve itself is flawless. you can get a recirc kit. I would just do that.

I can't imagine it throwing a check engine light.

did you unplug something accidentally while you were putting it in?

check for loose connections.
