what are you talking about, yes 4g63 stuff is interchangeable, the exh cams are identical, the intakes are slightly diff.
i have no clue where a 420a came into the picture, thats a totally diff story, no stock 4g63 stuff will bolt to it.
there is alot to do if you want to turbocharge a N/A 1G but its somewhat straight forward, your better off buying a turboed 1G for the price you would pay to turbo an NA

ok ive been in an argument
the non turbo ecplise is a 4g63 correct?
and the timming belt is on the passenger side
and the turbo is the 4g63t and the engine is turned 180*s
ie timming belt is on driver side correct?
now if that is correct then will the turbo mani and stock turbo
bolt up toi the non turbo even tho the timming belt is on the other side?
and if all of this is correct where can one but the non turbo engine?

what gen are we talkin about here, 2G's have a 420a (like neons) for the rs and gs (except gs spyder, 4g64) and the gst/gsx has the 4g63 every 2.0 1G is a 4g63.
timing belt is on the driver side for a 4g63 turbo or not
and if im understand you correctly, no you cannot put 4g63 parts on a 420a.

ummm...out of those, a 4g64 in my opinion, its a 2.4 litre sohc but a 4g63 head can be put on it and then you have all the 4g63 parts at your disposal to turbo it. if your going to attempt that, talk to a few people around here that have done it and get a feel for if you really wanna go through with it.
what car are you using for this btw? im still trying to understand what your wanting to do to what model.
