what to look for
he wanted 3500 but i talked him down to 3000, he said that the car has just been sitting and needed to get ride of it and of course i was sceptical about why he didnt want that much for it so i took it to a macanic, the car is in great shape, it drives fine, i had it inspected by a macanic and they said its looks great, no leaking fluids, shifts fine, interior was well maintained, yeah i know that 1g's have smaller injectors and turbo but that can all be fixed in 2 weeks time. still disiding if i should get it or not.

...you cant hold the brake and get 5500 rpm...you gotta get a torque converter to raise the rpm's when u hold the brake at the launch.
btw, i think the reason for the smaller turbo is because u cant launch at higher rpms like the manuals can, and thats why we get the bigger turbos.

lmao
do you honestly think the designers of the cars at mitsubishi were thnkingabout launching these when they put the smaller turbo on the auto's?
holding the brake on the line and bringing the revs up will put a load on the motor and build boost on the line. obviously a higher stall = more load, more rpms and more of the same effect.
you never close the throttle plate during shifts, so no need to run a blow off valve, and your shifts happen faster, and happen every time........ no missed shifts with an auto unless parts are flying out of the bottom.
