Default 96 Head on 98 Cam angle sensor???????

Sooo I have a 98 gst and i need to put a head on it, I have been searching and found a head but it is a 96 and its complete. Now i know the cam angle sensor is in a different location (behind the cam instead of on the passenger side of the head). Im not sure how much of a headache this is going to be, can i just keep the 96 sensor on it and wire it in? Any one know?

Just use the sensor you have and change out the intake cam itself.
