Het guys, I have to change out my sisters fuel filter. The car is running like shit and I think the fule filter might be her problem. But the car is not mine and I don't know a whole lot about the cars. I need to know where the fuel filter is on a '96 RS 2.0 eclipse. Thanks

 

If memory serves me right, it's in front of the rear passenger side tire. you're going to have to jack the car up and relieve fuel pressure before you swap the part. Just make sure you have a lot of rags and maybe an old can to catch the gas that WILL drip. We changed my fuel filter on the day of my turbo install 7 months ago, I'm pretty sure 96-99 have the same fuel system. If you have a 95, then that's a different story. Good luck man!!!!!!

 

It's under the car on the passenger side infront of the rear wheel like Kris said.
