WHICH ONE IS A 1G AND WHICH IS A 2G
IM LOOKING TO GET A 92 TSI IS IT A 4 OR 6 BOLT

 

maybe it is both :o

 

i think 1g's are 6bolt but i thought 2g's were 7bolt? 4 bolt may be the rear of an awd ?

 

maybe mr 2 is right... no 2G had a 6bolt...if the tsi is awd it could be a 6/4 or a 7/4 if its not awd, there is no rear, so dont come back here saying u got a 6/4 tsi and u like pulling the ebrake and burning out...ill slap you.

 

I got a 6 bolt / 4 bolt

Here's how it goes:

Before 92 - 6 bolt flywheel / 3 bolt rear differential
92 - 6 bolt flywheel / 4 bolt rear differential
after 92 - 7 bolt flywheel / 4 bolt rear differential

Oh yeah and only some 92s are 6/4, I think after march they are or something.
