EVO`s first run
Took the EVO 1 to the track tonight. The car is pretty stock. Has a 3IN exhaust, k&n, boost controller and ecmlink.
Did some street tuning a little while ago and decided to see what it does while basically stock before I start modding it.
1st run not launching to hard or slamming gears
1.90 60ft
13.029 @ 105.48
let it cool for awhile as I could smell clutch and I didnt even slip it hard on the first run
2nd run
1.84 60ft
12.834 @ 106.38
3rd run clutch started slipping in 4th. Granted they were closing soon and the car only sat for 5 minutes so the clutch was still hot.
Has a clutch masters stage 1 clutch. I guess this is a slight step up from stock but probably not enough.
All in all pretty impressed with that car. Basically stock, completely full weight with spare, cooler and tool kit in the trunk and drove home with the a/c blowing and the radio pumping.
Little more tuning, better launch and a clutch that holds and this is a mid 12 sec car all day with no real modding yet.

when my blue car just had the exhaust, afc, and boost controller, otherwise stock. ran 13.0 at 105 as well. 13.5 pounds boost. pretty neat.
oh and the stock clutch didnt like it. tried to go faster and slipped the clutch bad on second attempt..

Car definitely is not putting all the power to the ground. Clutch isnt holding. Need to start thinking about what clutch to put in it.
