Default Run in with a new Camaro

Its been a long time since anyone tried to race me. Mostly cause I`m always in my truck. But about a hour ago a new style Camaro came up next to me at a light. He gave the car a rev so i rolled the window down. He gave me props on the car. Said it looked good and most turn heads having the steering wheel on the right side. I said it did. Asked what he had done to the camaro, he said just a intake and wasnt going to really mod it. He then asked if I wanted to give it a run when it went green. There were no cars behind us so I agreed. We were rather even off the line but I didnt launch the car like I would at the track and I`m sure he just eased the clutch also. Hit second and I started to pull away a little then third and pulled more. Was about 2 cars ahead approaching 7k in third. He let out at that point cause i then shot ahead many cars. So I just put it in 4th and coasted. He came up along side and said thanks for the run with a thumbs up. Cool guy, beautiful Camaro. Not sure what model Camaro it was other than a new one with a V8 and a manual. I must admit It felt good. Been a long time since I did something like that. Car felt good for just mild street tuning.

I dont know much about them. A friend of mine said they run 13 flat at 110 stock but best people have done with good 60fts on sticky tires is mid 12 at the same 110ish. Sounds about right for 420hp car. Not a speed demon but pretty good for a factory car. Wouldnt call it a turb. It is heavy though. Probably doesnt handle that great at 3900lbs.
My car is pretty stock also and no speed demon.
