most 280s are somewhat aggressive in 2.0. and they are right at home in 2.3 engines. they dont have fast ramps so stock springs have worked for me.

I understand now. I have a built 2.0 with the BC springs and Ti-retainers and BC280's. Planning on reving to 8k rpm's if it keeps making power that high. The head is fully ported also. I don't think I'll have valve floating problems.

I hated the BC280's in my 10.1 2.0ltr.

I have 8:3.1 wiseco's. What did you hate....was the car a completle powerless dog at lower rpm's? lol
