I want to run speed density with my Microtech Ltx-8. Do I just use a 3 bar gm map and iat just like every other stand alone?

depends on how new the microtech ecu is .. they come with the map sensor internally built into the ecu.
Most of those systems are not setup for high boost like what we mitsu guys run.

You will most likely have to send out the ecu to have the map sensor upgraded if you ever plan to run 30 psi.

Like ive mentioned to you before .. this is a piss poor way of managing a mitsu engine , especially with all the options we have readily available for these cars that are tried and proven.

Did you not already have v3 ?

( btw yes im subjective to this ecu because i used it for 2 years and disliked it very much lol)

This one doesn't have an internal sensor. It used a GM 3-Bar when I drove it. The board is setup for a 2g harness.

Z, I was just going to wire it into my 1g harness if thats possible. Im going to use the 3 bar map that came with it, do I just need to get an IAT sensor and bung and wire it it in? It seemed like they used a 2g MAF for idle and cruise and the MAP for WOT.
and Orlando, do you know what version you had because Ive read alot of good reviews from DSM forums on the LTX-8.

and Orlando, I had money saved up to buy link v3, but I already had Microtech laying around. I may as well make it work, exepcially with how shitty 1g dsm ecu's are.

lol your rotary theory is probably right. everyone else is having great success with the ltx8 on dsm's. I sold my Bosch 1600cc injectors the other day, I have FIC 1000cc's in the mail right now. I can't wait to get this shit together. I just need a clutch now...Well I have a clutch but its only good for 400tq.

youll be a ok with the fic's . I have the same ones on my evo.

lets see if you get blessed with a set that dont do funny hotstarts. these injecters have a tendency of extended cranking to get the car to fire after its hot.(not sure if its a bleed down issue ) but its really random .. Alot of the evo guys have reported this back. Including my car lol sometimes it fires right up . Other times its like im on an AEM EMS. Its a surprise!!!!
