how much does this engine cost?

i recently bought a USED 2.0 liter ENGINE for my RS. id just like to know whats the adverage price someone would pay for an engine like so. thanx for the help

turbo or non turbo?

a good condition turbo can go for as cheap as $150.00 to $600 or $1,000

a non turbo can go for about the same depending on who you purchase it through, although the shortblocks for a non turbo (which are dime a dozen) can be had for 50-100 bucks.

unless it a 2g, the RS have the neon motor (420a)

how about for a 97 RS non turbo ENGINE with 62k miles.... watchu think?

Sell the car. Buy a Turbo DSM like you should have in the first place. To answer your question though. anything more then 1,000 is too much for that motor. They're blah. NEON motors.
