just got a new ACT 2600 MB1-XTSS clutch with the fuganzzi flywheel and the quafe LSD, how many miles should i put on the clutch before i get on it? i've been told by one person to keep it below 3 grand and out of boost for 500 miles, and another told me just not to launch the car for 500 miles , what should i do

i do have to say though.. the LSD is badass around corners

 

I thought it was a fidenza [sp?] flywheel?

Oh, There are so many opinions on clutch break in, but the most popular are the ones where you really take it easy on the clutch and out 3-500 city miles on it.

I think that if you put that much effort into a break in, and the shit still gets F'd up, then you will just be more pissed about it.

 

yea i've already put close to 300 miles on it and i have really gotten on it much, (just a lil wanted to test the LSD around some corners hehe) but i haven't lauched it or anything so no bad clutch wear, from what i was thinking once the clutch is engaged it shouldn't matter much if i get on it a lil because the clutch is moving, no wear i mean, plus i only have a stock turbo and i'm not really boosting it more then 10psi i try and keep it below that .. i think after another 100 miles (400 total) my break in process will be put to and end.. then its off to the track for some new time slips with my nifty new lsd flywheel and clutch

and by the way it was a fuganzzi, atleast thats what my recept says
