Default To keep or not to keep ABS

Well it looks like I don't have the hydraulic unit for abs on my car and now I'm debating if I should even put it in. The lines are there and ready to plug into the unit.

Thoughts? Opinions?

The question should be if you drive in conditions that necessitate ABS in your car. Otherwise, why do you want ABS?

My intentions are to get the car running, decent power and make it a dd (for now). Come to think of it, I don't think I'll need it.

Get a non abs valve and the lines and get rid of the abs crap.

I'll look up this non abs valve but I'm not exactly sure where this valve may be.

EDIT: Nevermind. Found a great link that shows you how to go through the process of removing ABS.

It's on the firewall. With abs the lines come off the brake booster and go to the abs unit. With non abs the lines come off the booster and go to a non abs proportioning valve then out to the brake calipers.
If you are going non abs then you need to get rid of the abs unit.
Go to a junk yard. Find a non abs car and take the proportioning valve and the two lines that go from it to the brake booster.

Thanks. I find these parts very hard to find online. Hoping to find what I need at a u-pull junkyard.

theres a vendor on tuners that has a whole kit to delete abs for about 200. not sure if its a good deal or not but it comes with the new valve and new stainless cables or whatever.
