Default Clutch problem. Help

K guys. I dropped my tranny today since my clutch has been slipping with the 2600 street disc. When i took off the Pressure plate about 3 or 4 fingers were sitting lower then the rest of them. not sure if its toasted or not. but the street disc was almost toasted but still had some friction left. So im wondering why it was slipping? well I put in a new t.o.b fork and ball with no shim this time. along with a 6 puck. got it all together and now clutch wont go into gear . Adjusted clutch pedal all the way and the fork is just bottoming out on the bell housing. what should i do? would it be the pressure plate or no shim added? last time there was a shim it put constant pressure on the disc and p.p which most likely tore them down so quickly. the shim looked pretty big when i took it out. any suggestions here?

Re-shim it. I had to do it when I installed my 2100 and solid 6-puck.

And the 'shim' is a washer.

installed 6 puck unsprung disc with a centerforce p.p. I also threw in a shim half the size that was in there already. All i can say is DAMN car grabs when it goes in gear.. Way diff then the street disc and the centerforce p.p is a lot softer then the act 2600 i had in there. overall i like the 6 puck unsprung over street disc just because it hits the gear and grabs. still taking it easy though, untill i get my timing belt service done.
