i need some encouragement
i need some encouragement, when i got my car it had and still has the ebay Coilover and the blower motor just went out and it needs a new top and paint, I'm in the middle of building to motor. please tell me your story and let me get some pics of your car when you got it and how it is now so i can feel better.....
lol thats nothing. Ive spent over 10000 between the car and replacing everything in the past 4 years. Finally got it running good and hydrolocked the engine. And I still manage to have fun in my car (sometimes)lol.

I'm thinking of buying a coupe just because I'm building a motor and it would be cheaper to buy a coupe than to put a new top on it....i can find a shell for about 500.00 and it will cost 700-800 for a new top....
that is true i guess. i'm personally, not a fan of drop-tops, but thats me
I got lucky and traded my acura legend for my talon and it was in excellent shape. redid the bottom end just because and the car has been pretty damn good to me. Know this isnt a story you want but my other eclipse before this was a total pain in the ass.

Dont whine! j/k.
but really, if you ask me it should be taking you some bit of time to get it where you want it and even then you will always find something else that you want to do, and the more time it takes you the more pride you will have in what you have achieved, if you bought a car that was all the way done then you bought some one elses job and when people give you a complement by saying "nice car buddy" they are not really talking about you but if you did the work then you can say with a wide open smile "thank you" and you will feel alot better when that day comes and you will look back on how much work you did and how long it took you and feel it was well worth it.
good luck man and keep your chin up.
