New Eclipse on the scene
meh what?
whats wrong with spray&boost?
whats wrong with spray&boost?
i would love spray and boost but first i have to do the rebuild.....one step at a time (or i could just spray the hell out of the motor now and that would tell me real quick if the guy actually rebuilt it before or if he was lying)

stock 420 can handle a 75. but if your unsure of the rebuilt run a 50 for a little bit. my friend ran through 2 bottle on a high mile motor fine

Just my .02:
Super charger= full boost on the line, nothing to refill, less HP/torque
Turbo= full boost @ X,000 RPM, higher HP/Torque
Nitro= Instant short term boost, mid range HP/Torque, have to refill the bottle after X races.
Mix and match as you see fit.

This eclipse has been in the spring hill area for years now. i remember when the guy who owned it at the time got the supra rear done. i dont understand it all but its whatever. been around for quite some time though
Get rid of the wing and paint it a solid color. Also you might want to look into an srt-4 swap if you want boost.... hell it's already custom why not

you can put an srt4 motor in it, but will have to cut the hood unless you find an intake manifold that'll fit.
however. you can use a 2.4 stratus block with srt4 internals, downpipe, and i think you can use the srt wat pump(?). and continue to use your 420 head and boost that. there's a guy (code4) that has that done and it's sounds nice as hell IMO. if he reads this he may chime in on it
and was that a stock 420 that held a 150? i haven't heard of a 420 running anything higher then a 100 long term without some work being done.
