Default 2 Questions, car still running like crap

#1. When operating a boost leak test with a greddy type- s installed does the lower nipple on the bov supposed to leak air? Because last time i did a blt thats what was happening.
#2. Car has no power when hit the gas. Low rpms are the worst between 1-3k it goes nowhere when wot. Had it boosting at 10psi then changed it to 20psi and felt no faster.. and when i gradually accelerate in any gear as soon as i hit 4k my wideband rockets total lean max and the car falls on its face.

Anybody have any advice on what this should be? Would a small /huge boost leak make this occur?

Just had My intake manifold gasket done because the leak was pretty bad in that area. but car still feels very very slow then what it should be

Thanks for any help

The lower nipple shouldnt leak..a tiny bit is fine but if its more than that the shaft has worn the body.

And if this is the case, Would that be one of the problems with the car not pushing out the Power that it should? The bov has a very light sound to it as well. You can barely hear it and sometimes not a sound at all. Which im assuming , could be a problem why the car doesn't go like it should.??

If you are currently running 20 psi's then you are hitting fuel cut at WOT, that would explain the "lean maxed out"...What kind of fuel system you running?

^hes not hitting fuel cut.

When was the last time you changed the plugs/wires? Does it feel like its missing when it goes all the way lean?

if hes running stock fuel system and boost up to 20, thats a great possibility...why else would he max out lean? A good friend of mine who has been working on these cars for YEARS was selling a car that had the same problem, just needed upgraded pump and injectors....he would be able to ease the pedal down to get high into rpms and then it would drop off and jerk when he matted it to the floor, thus fuel cutting....but having a miss could also be a good possibility, but that wouldnt explain his lean max out, he would run rich with fuel if it wasnt getting spark...

Well I say that because fuel cut is VERY obvious. Its like its pulling one second, and then all of a sudden the car shuts off...then turns on again. Falls on its face, to me, sounds more like it just loses power, not cuts out all the way. Who knows.

And really bad misfiring will show up as lean on a wideband. When I had a bad set of wires it would pull ok till ~4-5k then miss like crazy and go to 16-17:1.

when its WOT the car doesnt shoot lean at 4k. only when your slowly accelerating then the car will hit lean. Spark plugs and wires have been changed in the last 30 days. Also changed the fuel filter as well. my fuel system is 255 Fp and 720cc INJ. and like i said earlier ,the car feels the same whether its on high boost or low boost. and its extremely sluggish between 1-3k. still trying to spot out the problem here. spent quite a bit of money thinking its this or that and i got nowhere.

wot doesnt fall on its ass and go lean. only when slowy accelerating. On wot 3rd gear wideband reads 13.6 and as the rpms get higher it finishes around 12.7 .

Damn sounds like you got yourself a bad issue man, good luck with everything and hope you get it fixed without spending a lot more than what you have already. I would do some research and see if you can find anyone else that has ran into the problem you are having.
