need an opinion
The car starts but most of the time the rpms jump to like 7000 and then it turns off. Other times it stays on but eventually like 30 - 1hr it turn off again. I dont know if a ecu will fix this issue but thats what two different mechanics have told me.
idk man. i needed an ecu but my car only ran rich and the motor sounded like i had cams lol all up until the ecu crashed and the motor just wouldn't start anymore.
cant your ecu be scanned? if you have no connection to the ecu with a scanned double check and make sure your obd plug actually has power to the ecu and then if it does but still nothing the comp may be in limp mode or whatever it's called and you may need a new ecu. and if you have a 420 it's $288 from the dealer. just got one 2 weeks ago
