Default Displacement and FWD

I'm planing a engine build and was looking into a 2.3 setup with a FP3052, would this be to much punch for a FWD?? This is going to remain my DD and it will see little track use. I just want something thats a blast to drive and I don't care about spinning to 10,000 r p m

Why not a 4g64 w/ 4g63 head? Its the new cool thing to do. lol

and boost by gear like he said. Except you can do that with a mitsu factory ECU...no need to spend 1200.

Pretty sure the guys messing with ECUFlash and the evo 8 ECU have it figured out. There is a huge thread on tuners about it.

u can to some degree with the evo8/9 ecu ..but not with a 90 gst unless u swaped to a 98 harness and bought a evo ecu. but u can get a used aem for about 500. then there is also aem traction control he could use.

Hm..didn't think you need the harness. I dunno though I've never seen a 1g ecu. Thought you just needed a maf and some sensors.

Id like to know where an aem can be had for 500. I never see em lower than 800.

You don't need a harness for either 98-99 Flashable ECU's, or the Evo 8 ECU. For the 98-99 its a direct swap, possible need to swap cas for 95-96, and possible different spark order. For the Evo 8 install, there are a few pin on the harness that need to be moved. When tuners comes back up I'll post links.

Also, the Evo 8 ecu has more outputs for extra items, ie water spray on your ic at certain intake temps, etc.
