sbr has a decent insert for like 200-300. But if you want a real lsd there up in the $1k range, plus install.

Some people have run them with no problems, others had there trans self-destruct. what it does is press outward on the spider gears in the diff, so its less likely to transfer all the power to one wheel. But its nothing like a real lsd from Quaife, Kaaz, etc

 

I know theres phantom grip..a friend of mine has one in his acura. Not sure if they make them for dsm. Im sure they would..But I know if you want to use upgraded springs you might have to cut them down a bit to fit. You hear mixed opinions on them.

 

i had the phantom in my gst for years. Id say i had 100k on it. When I first got it in there it worked great but It was nt very effective for long. I kept it in there in hopes to keep the spider gears from moving around as much if I got wheel hop. If your serious get a real diff and dont waste your money.
