how much would it cost to convert an automatic gst to manual including parts and labor???

 

darkside will do it for around 1200 ( parts) labor is 450 if you can source the parts it would be a lot easier.


the above quote was for a 420 as well i don't know how much more it would be for a 4g63

do some research on the subject.... auto>5-spd

save ur money on the swap...and swap ur GST from FWD to AWD

then you'll be good to go

 

just get a 5spd one, heres one i found you should take a look at it

not reason in doing a swap. if you like UR car just get a build auto tranny

if you have to get a 5spd just sell that and get a 5spd

 

If he is rethinking the $1500 I don't think that he will want to do a AWD conversion. I did mine. Lucky for me I got a free donor car but I still spent lots of money on all kinds of other things that go with the conversion. Although the AWD is nice, lol Also hope you are a good welder or know someone who is and will hook you up!

My buddy had his auto tranny built from IPT and they are about to do mine. They do great work.
