alright so i've been reading a bit on Neons.org and i found out that a 420a can hit 200 whp na


I have a spare block sitting here at home and i am going to try this. Now my question is. with 12.0:1 Compression ratio pistons being used what would i have to do fuel wise? I have never done anything N/A with high Compression. All i know is low compression is good for boost. so if any of you can give me a quick run down on the benefits of the 10.5:1 and the 12.0:1 Compression. Thanks T.R

 

ok so 12.0:1 is a bad idea because it can only run safe on race gas which sucks. so 10.5:1 it is. Do any of you know of a company that still makes cams for the 420?

everyone has differant builds their determined to do

 

I guess... Don't get me wrong, NA builds are cool but not mitsu motors in a heavy ass 2g shell.

 

i don't know if there's a difference between the neon 420a and the eclipse 420a but i know that my friend's old neon had the intake on the front compared to the eclipse having it on the back. not that that would make a huge difference but i don't know if there would be anything else that's different that could screw up your build.

i got a symtech labs megasquirt for the 420a, let me kno...other then that good luk lol my old eclipse was a 420a (eclipse below)
