From what Ive seen very few people have seen any gains switching to the Starion FMIC on a 1G 2Gs may get a very slight gain seeing as the 2G SMIC is smaller than the 1G SMIC.

If anything get one of the IC cores that RRE sells.

mine seems to work ok granted as James said I have a 2.5 inlet and outlet on it. if I was spending more than 100 dollars on it I would definitely be buying a much better core and having some end tanks put on it by a welding shop.
