Just got a new master cylinder in the eclipse, bled the clutch out and now it is not engaging into 1st or reverse. Could it be the slave cylinder that needs to be changed too, how would I know? Help

 

Pop your hood and check and make sure the shifter cables are still attached, if thats good to go take out your center console and check to make sure the 2 "C" spacers are on the clutch cable running from the shifter(not sure what they are but they hold the cables to the mount for the shifter assembly) 2nd of all what car do you have a 1g or 2g???? You should go ahead and replace the slave cylinder, should always do the master and the slave at the same time.

 

it's a 2g spyder, I figured out what it was he changed his master and not the slave cylinder. Then I fixed the adjustment on the clutch pedal.
