I just saw a commercial for the new 2010 hatchback Lancer sport...Have kno clue if its boosted...nor if it even comes with a manual transmission. I just found out that the older lancers were all automatic...only oz comes with a manual tranny...I think the STI hatch is gangster az hell honestly...looks like mitsu has been stealing some ideas...lol

Yes there is a turbo version. Not sure on the regular MT, might have some tiptronic crap. They had 32k stickers on em last time I was at Mitsu..

thought that was hi until I saw the MR with a 48K tag!

 

Well, if you look back at true old lancers ( mirages here in the US) some of the designs were similar but different in their own ways. Just sucks that we have to ship decent parts from outside the us to get them to lancer specs (ie they got better engines, brakes, suspension, headlamps and what not). Luckily, the chassis' were pretty much identical across the board so its possible to make and evo 1-6 with our chassis and their engine and drivetrain. On the new ones, I've seen a 6-speed down in Naples with a turbo engine. It had ralliart stuff all over the place on it and a lot of the same interior pieces that the mr's have in them. The dealer was treating like the holy grail and wouldn't let me test drive it...duche bags.

yea i am in love with the sti hatch 09 or 10 i sat in it ad i loved it but 30k is a little to much for me right now
