Default ignition coil problem maybe?

my cars idle goes up and down and im not sure if this is supposed to happen but when i remove a wire from a spark plug you know how it stops sparking when you pull it out of the hole

well it starts sparking from the ignition coil so wtf i dont think its supposed to do that

i replaced the spark plugs and wirset

can it be the ignition coils causing the eratic idle because they are going bad or what?

What do you mean sparking from the ignition coil? Do you mean the plug wire is arcing once you pull it off the plug or what?

sounds like you got some crazy electrical problems, what with the timing plug arcing when you ground it and now this...

id look into making sure all the ground wires are in place. should be one going from the negative terminal to the firewall, one from the negative terminal to a starter bolt, and another small one from the intake manifold to the firewall..

other than that I have no idea man. If you're near/in Brandon I'd say bring it to my house and we could look at it...GL

this is what i imean you know when you pull the wire off the sparkplug while the car is on you see electricity when its close to the hole of the spark plug but when you lift it a little higher so there is no sparks you see it escaping from the other end of the plug which its the coil so i thing i got a crack i the coil maybe?
