so i was going to reuse this sensor from my old swap well the damn plug got smashed somewhere along the way... i believe its a water temp sensor but not 100% sure... im running an after market in hose sensor so im not to worried about it if thats what it is... also does anyone know the thread pitch on these motors ive used standard and metric and can find a set screw to plug it with... this is a pic of where the sensor screws into the block at... back under the intake in the middel...

your water temp sensors are going to be up on your thermostat housing. make shure you dont wack the wrong one thow! one's just for your guage the other is for your ecu. and just in case,( you need the one for your ecu!)

^the plastic plug is for the ECU I believe, and the spade connector is for the gauges..

I agree with it being the knock sensor. Ill look and see if i have another one on my other block! If i do ill give you a shared_pm. Its for a 1g not sure which you need.

^ it says he has a 95, so he would need a 2g. im not sure off the top of my head if the 1g sensors work.

it will screw into the block, but the 2g ecu is going to be calibrated for the 2g knock sensor, i think the 1g knock sensor is really sensitive, so your car will act up.
